25. The cosplay you put the most effort into

Aside from the more elaborate and expensive ones, the most effort I’ve put into a costume would have to go to Menma, haha!

When I made Menma, it was a night or 2 after I’ve finished watching Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (Anohana), or it might’ve been the same night, I can’t really recall now.  I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally wanted to be Menma.  But the next day, there was an event where I had to man a table and sell things…  Unfortunately, passion overruled being rational and I enslaved myself to my sewing machine and churned out this dress overnight.  I was suuuuuuper tired at the event BUT being Menma was all worth it! No regrets at all! XD  At the event, I wasn’t expecting anyone to recognize me, but a few people did and it made me really happy to find people that had watched the show!  I was also out to make ppl cry that day and kept telling them “You found me!” when they asked me for photos. XD
